JERROLD LADAR
SAN
FRANCISCO LAW SCHOOL
MOURNS THE LOSS OF
BENEFACTOR
AND FORMER FACULTY MEMBER
San
Francisco Law School is saddened by the loss of one of its
favorite faculty members, Jerrold Ladar. Following a very successful “roast” of
Jerry, his friends established a scholarship which benefits San Francisco Law
School’s evening law
students who volunteer for clinical service at the US Attorney’s Office, the
Office of the Federal Public Defender, state prosecutors or public defenders
offices or the State of California Office of Administrative Hearings.
A native of San Francisco,
Jerry was a graduate of Lowell High School and Boalt Hall Law
School. He spent 10 years as a criminal prosecutor, for
the US Attorney for the Northern District of California. He then established and maintained a very
successful private practice. Jerry Ladar
was a leader of criminal law practitioners and highly respected for his
knowledge and expertise.
Heartfelt sympathies are extended to his mother,
Sylvia, his wife, Joyce, and his sons Jeffrey and Jonathan.
The Ladar family has truly honored San Francisco Law
School, and its evening law students, by
including the Law
School as a recipient of
donations to the memory of Jerrod Ladar and his service to the legal
profession.
